New Year’s Message from the President
Dear valued members,
Esteemed members of the underwater research and sports community,
Representatives of our partner institutions, and all friends of the blue world,
As we leave 2025 behind, we, as the Anatolian Underwater Research and Sports Association, are pleased to welcome a new year filled with hope, health, and success—together.
Throughout the past year, particularly within the scope of the European Union–funded “Science in Blue” project, we had the opportunity to meet with young people in Eastern Anatolia and introduce them to underwater science, cultural heritage, and innovative technologies. We continued to contribute to the future of our blue world through scientific research, awareness-raising activities, and conservation efforts aimed at protecting our aquatic ecosystems, especially Lake Van. I sincerely thank all our members, project partners, and supporters whose dedication and efforts made these achievements possible.
A new year symbolizes fresh beginnings, renewed hopes, and shared goals. In 2026, we will continue to work hand in hand with the same determination to protect our seas, lakes, and underwater heritage, to pass these values on to future generations, and to help build a more sustainable future through scientific research.
