The Mavi Bilim (Science in Blue) Project concluded in Bitlis.

The “Science in Blue” (Mavi Bilim) Project concluded the Eastern Anatolia leg of its program in the Güroymak district of Bitlis.

As part of the project, a full day of science- and technology-focused activities was held in Güroymak. Mehmet Salih Aygün, President of the Anatolian Underwater Research and Sports Association operating in Bitlis, stated that the program offered an important and inspiring experience for students in the region.

The most remarkable part of the event was the autonomous robotic fish coding workshop delivered by Prof. Dr. Salih Murat Egi, a faculty member at Galatasaray University. Fifth-grade students from Güroymak YİBO learned theoretical concepts and then put them into practice, gaining hands-on coding experience. The training, which the children followed with great curiosity and excitement, concluded with the distribution of various gifts to the students.

Highlighting the institutional support that made the project possible, Aygün expressed his thanks to Güroymak District Governor Mehmet Zahid Uzun, District Director of National Education Abdulmuttalip Güneri, YİBO Principal Erdal Çelik, and all the students who participated enthusiastically in the program.
